In 2020, while pregnant with my third child, I discovered many scammers posing as nannies, preying on mothers in need. I felt compelled to step in. Out of goodwill, I started screening nannies thoroughly and connecting them with mothers — completely free of charge. It wasn’t about money; it was about doing something good and earning some karma.
Sadly, not everyone saw it that way. Someone, out of jealousy, reported me to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). I was investigated and even warned about possible legal action. I explained that I wasn’t profiting — I was simply helping fellow mothers during a difficult time. After months of investigation, MOM dropped the case but advised me to get an Employment Agency license if I wished to continue.
In 2021, I took their advice. I enrolled, sat for the exam, and passed on my second attempt. I continued helping mothers find nannies, and as word spread, more parents began asking me to help them find domestic helpers too. That’s how our agency was born — from kindness, struggle, and a sincere wish to make a difference.
